A&S Natural Health has been serving winston salem and the surrounding triad for more than 20 years. It was started as the Doug Brendle’s Natural Health Superstore in June 1996 by Doug Brendle and my Dad Bill Grady. At the time it was the only health food store in the area selling only organic produce, wine, a full service deli and smoothie bar, bulk foods, bulk herbs, frozen and refrigerated items, gluten free groceries, sports supplements, vitamins, homeopathy, books, and ionized water. My Dad and I started and acquired three more stores before taking over full control of the store and bringing it under the A&S name in 2004. Now just as then before all the grocery store and mass market jumped in to the industry for the money we pride ourselves on having the most knowledgeable staff around. Just go to the employees page and you’ll see the extensive training and background of our sales team.
While the store no longer carries produce and bulk foods, it does have one of the largest supplement and bulk herb sections around. We carry essential oils, sports supplements, ionized water at just 99cents to members.
Becoming a member at A&S is just 10 dollars a year and takes 20% off of most of the supplements and HBA products in the store up to 35% off of some lines. Come in and speak to one of our staff members today!
